Nordic Test Center (NTC) is a testing facility located in Päijät-Häme, Finland, where companies can conduct rigorous explosion, fragmentation, and ballistic projectile testing in a safe, controlled, and fully documented environment.
NTC Finland is specifically designed for companies developing products for defense, security, and government use, as well as for other industries where product durability, protection, and reliability are critical.
Product Testing
NTC Finland works in close cooperation with Eurofins Expert Services, independent third-party testing organization. Eurofins Expert Servises in part of Eurofins-Group.
Explosions
Our trained explosives specialists utilize a comprehensive range of explosive materials, propellants, and initiation systems to meet diverse testing requirements. Available detonation velocities range from 200 m/s to 8,200 m/s.

Nordic Test Center serves clients in Orimattila, Finland, throughout the year. Reserve the site for your testing needs.
Ballistic and Fragmentation Testing
Nordic Test Center offers extensive bullet testing with different weapons, calibers, and bullet types. Fragmentation testing will be added to NTC’s services during 2026.
